Typhoon ‘Sendong’ (international name ‘Washi’) is said to be the world’s deadliest storm for 2011, leaving in its wake at least 957 dead and hundreds more still missing. It is so sad (and shocking!) to see so much devastation in Cagayan de Oro and Iligan City. Thousands of families are left without homes. And this happening a few days before Christmas is truly heartbreaking.
I have personally donated a portion of the earnings of Pinay Traveller to the Red Cross (via PayPal) and I urge you to do the same. There are many ways to help out the victims. Please find it in your heart to donate the much needed food, medical supplies, clothes and of course, cash.
