If you’re headed for Baguio, don’t miss dining at Hillstation Restaurant. Set in the old ballroom of the newly renovated Casa Vallejo, the fine dining restaurant serves traditional Pinoy comfort food as well as colonial classics.
The grand staircase leads down to the old ballroom which was frequented by Baguio socialites back in the day. Today, it serves as the perfect backdrop for a sumptuous breakfast, lunch or dinner.
While there, Hubby and I enjoyed our Baguio longganisa breakfast served with atcharang pipino and Benguet rice.
For lunch, I had this wonderful Seafood Marinara, while hubby relished this:
the unforgettable Beef Salpicao served with garlic bread. The taste was too rich, though, so Hubby ordered rice.
All in all, a meal for two will set you back between 700-1,000 pesos. But trust me, your meal will be worth every cent.
Before leaving, pass by their gift shop near the cashier. Here, you’ll see some interesting finds like these earthenware by Lanelle Abueva. (I bought one of the colorful mugs below for 350 pesos.)
*Hillstation Restaurant, Casa Vallejo is located in Upper Session Road, Baguio City Proper.

Hello. I just discovered your blog. Great pictures and nice posts! I love the food and ambience here. But I think this place is called Hillstation, not Cafe Hillside..unless they’ve changed the name. 🙂
Hi there! You’re right. So strange because I normally doublecheck the names.:) ANyway, thanks for calling my attention. Changed! 🙂
