Finding My Way to Camino de Santiago
A few days ago, I was finally able to watch “The Way”, a film starring Emilio Estevez and dad Martin Sheen. It was also produced and directed by Emilio himself. The Estevezes apparently trace their roots back to Galicia, Spain where the story takes place. I was so engrossed in the film that for the first time in months, I wasn’t viewing a film like a critic. After watching the film, I got to thinking again about my own personal journey to Camino de Santiago. I have finally…

I replied to him saying that of course, I would love to. A couple of days ago, I received a pleasant surprise in my mail: Marc’s Camino de Santiago all -weather walking…

ABOUT THE SOLO IN EUROPE SERIES A year ago, I grabbed the opportunity to travel to Europe on my own. It was a trip that took several months to daydream about but only one month to prepare for. I will be posting an account of the trip, albeit a little late, over the next couple of weeks. Barcelona Pre-Trip I have to admit that Barcelona intimidated me at first. Although I have been to Spain twice in the past, Barcelona was never on the itinerary. Much of what I knew about it were from what I’ve read online or heard from friends. Which were not all good—mostly tales of pickpocketing…
