    1. Fond of painting or drawing when travelling? Why not join Urban Sketchers— a community of visual artists from more than 30 countries all over the world whose main goal is to facilitate the sharing of location drawings and exchange of comments and ideas among its members.     Artists draw or paint on the spot in their sketchpads and moleskines.   I’ve always wanted to do this but alas, I don’t have the patience nor the time (most of the time).  Thank God for my trusty cameras!  And thank God, too, for these artists who willingly share their work to the rest of the world.     2.  I’m…

I want to get me a pair of these! I like Keen. Keen is stylish. Keen cares. Keen is techy. And Keen makes sense. Well, now we know where next month’s raket check will go. (*No, I’m not an employee of or related in anyway with Keen. I’m just a fan.)

Well… almost. I have recently emotionally parted with my Canon Digital Rebel.  And now, I am trying to build a new set of gear.  I want to take photography more seriously and to start that new chapter of my life, I need to upgrade. 1.  The Canon 50D. I find these accessories so adorable. Made by a stay-at-home mother of a three year old girl, these are made from original clippings from vintage books. Visit her Etsy shop at dlkdesigns. Also, check out my favorite source of goodies– etsy.com— for more fantastic finds.

    HOW TOTE-FUL!

    /

An upcoming trip to Vietnam in August has prompted me to virtual-shop for a really nice tote bag that would carry my travel essentials in style. After visiting a number of online stores, I have come up with several candidates for my Ultimate Travel Tote. Topping my list are two totes from British designer Stella McCartney for American brand Le Sportsac. Following the footsteps of her predecessors Diane von Furstenberg, Jonathan Adler, tokidoki and Gwen Stefani, Stella has teamed up with the handbag giant to produce affordable handbags that do not sacrifice style for functionality. Last year, she launched her second Le Sportsac line with her Fall ’08 collection. The…
