Remembering Barcelona in Autumn
Around this time last year, I was fortunate enough to have travelled to Barcelona. It was autumn. The weather was beginning to get a bit nasty and I was unprepared for the biting cold. But Barcelona is such a beautiful city that it was easy to forget the weather and focus on the wonderful skyline instead. Just seeing the buildings, landmarks and even trees set against the bluest of skies makes me want to go back. How about you? Have you been to Barcelona during Autumn? Tell us about it! *All photos taken with a Canon G10 You might…

Breakfast at the Royal Garden Cafe
Hotel Unizo’s Royal Garden Cafe serves three types of breakfast, all equally pleasing to the palette and delightful to the eyes. The first (and my favorite) is the traditional Japanese set. The set consists of grilled salmon.. miso soup… cold tofu… and pickled seaweed. Of course, there’s bottomless coffee and orange juice. Then there’s American breakfast consisting of bread, bacon, eggs, fried potatoes and mixed green salad. You can have the eggs either scrambled or simply fried sunny side up. Finally, the pancakes! Tokyo First Impressions
I had the chance to travel to Tokyo, Japan last week to attend the Japan Prize International Contest for Educational Media. It was all at once exciting, exhilarating and nerve-wracking to be in such a beautiful and vibrant city. Needless to say, I was filled with mixed emotions the whole time because I was both joining an international competition and visiting Japan for the first time. I will tell you all about it in the next few days. For now, here are some of the first few images I took of Shibuya Ward in Tokyo.

Travel Find: Sculptural Piece from Samal
I know I said I wasn’t going to blog but I have some downtime now. So while waiting for my next shoot, I thought I’d just check in for a while and start a new category. Whenever I travel, I make it a point to look for something that I can bring back home… not the usual touristy souvenir but the kind that represents and makes the particular area I’m visiting truly unforgettable. Over the years, I have accumulated quite a lot of these mementos– from paintings and artworks of local artists, to those cookie-cutter, souvenir-shop trinkets, and even quaint little items from the public markets. These items are not…

Leica and Hermes: Perfect Combination
Dear God, I promise to be a very good girl next year. Just please give me one of these… They only created 200 of these babies. It costs nearly 9,000 euros apiece. But with You, anything is possible, right? I promise not to curse so much. I also promise to slow down when approaching a yellow light. Just please… Well, alright. Some other Christmas, then… Photocredit:limitedhype.com. Thanks for my friend Marivic who posted this on FB.
